Since you look like you're new here, check the FAQ on the bar to the left for a lot of common questions. I currently own a non-turbo and a TT, and the maintenance on the TT is more expensive on average, but not that much more (for regular maintenance). Repairs will be more expensive, but it's absolutely worth it. I'm sure you'll get plenty of similar responses. $28,000 for a '96 with low mileage seems about right, perhaps a little high. I don't know about shipping costs, but if you buy it from a nearby state, driving it back home might be a good idea, you get a feel for the car and save on that freight cost. I did that when I bought my TT. mitchell
